After four years on the streets of L.A.'s San Fernando Valley, Cameron was diagnosed with skin cancer. He endured painful treatments and major reconstructive surgery to his nose, all while sleeping in a local shelter. Last month, with the help of L.A. Family Housing, one of the organizations leading the 100,000 Homes Campaign in L.A. County, Cameron finally moved into a permanent apartment where he can heal and begin to rebuild.
