Welcome Home, Christine!
This week's Monday move-in story spotlights Christine in Bakersfield, CA.
Last month, volunteers with Home First 12, the initiative leading the 100,000 Homes Campaign in Bakersfield, found Christine living on the streets. A quick assessment revealed that she had been homeless for quite some time and faced serious medical risks. Less than two weeks later, Home First 12 moved Christine into a permanent apartment with so many donated furnishings that she had to stay up all night just to organize them!
