Welcome Home, Sara and David!

This week's Monday move-in story spotlights Sara and David in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles:
Just over a year ago, Sara and David were confronted with a choice no couple wants to make: pay for Sara's emergency medical operation or pay their rent. They chose Sara’s health, and it landed them on the streets of Los Angeles.
“It felt like the world was coming to an end,” David said.
Eventually, volunteers with PATH (People Assisting The Homeless), one of the organizations leading the 100,000 Homes Campaign throughout Los Angeles, identified Sara as the single most vulnerable person living on the streets of the Silver Lake neighborhood. This week, thanks to PATH's dedication, Sara and David moved into their own apartment for the first time in over a year.
On move-in day, Sara looked around at her new home and said, “This is coming back to life.” Welcome home, Sara and David!
