Bexar County Joins 100,000 Homes Campaign
Project Aims to House Homeless People
Bexar County has joined a new national campaign to help the homeless.
The aim of the 100,000 Homes Campaign is to find permanent homes for 100,000 homeless Americans.
Members of the San Antonio Regional Alliance For Homeless met with the campaign organizer on Tuesday morning to find out details about the project. The Housing Authority of Bexar County, San Antonio Housing Authority, Veterans Administration, SAMMinistries and County Judge Nelson Wolff also attended the meeting.
According to campaign organizer Linda Kaufman, a big focus will be to find housing for those in dire medical need and homeless veterans.
